Insider shows mockups of all 4 iPhone 16 models

Images of prototypes for the entire lineup of iPhone 16 smartphones have surfaced online. The photos were shared by reputable insider DuanRui on their social media page on X.

The source revealed the design of the devices, showing both their front and back sides. This once again confirmed the updated camera module for the standard iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models, with a vertical arrangement of sensors. In the case of the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max, there are no apparent changes compared to last year's models, except for the addition of a new button.

In the published photos shared by the insider, it's evident that all the buttons on the smartphones will protrude, except for one, called the Capture Button. It will be responsible for launching the camera application and capturing photos. Apparently, this button will be touch-sensitive, while all others will remain physical, although there were previous claims that the volume and power buttons would also be touch-sensitive.

Presumably, these prototypes are intended for manufacturers of third-party cases and other accessories for the upcoming smartphones. The presentation of the new generation iPhone is expected in September 2024.
