Yandex Armenia launches premium service ‘Ultima’: Helicopter rides now available via Yandex Go

Yandex Go has introduced its new premium offering, Ultima, enabling users to book helicopter flights directly through the app. Flights can be reserved either along custom routes under the Copter tariff or as scenic sightseeing tours through the Sky Tour tariff. Air transport services are provided in partnership with Armenian Helicopters.

Popular tour destinations include Dilijan, Sevan, Meghri, Goris, the Yerevan Reservoir, Symphony of Stones, Garni Gorge, and more. Charter flights with the Copter tariff can be arranged from Yerevan and other cities, with available destinations selectable via a dropdown menu in the app.

Bookings must be made at least 2 hours prior to departure and no more than one month in advance. Payments are made upfront using a bank card linked to the Yandex Go app. Pricing under the Copter tariff is calculated per minute, based on flight duration, while the Sky Tour tariff offers fixed-rate pricing.

Air transportation is carried out by Armenian Helicopters, the partner of the service. All flights are conducted during daylight hours and in suitable weather conditions. Prior to takeoff, passengers must undergo a mandatory safety briefing, document check, and weigh-in. Each flight can accommodate up to five passengers, provided the total onboard weight (including luggage) does not exceed 410 kg.

The service is family- and pet-friendly: children of all ages are welcome, with child seats available for younger travelers, and pets in carriers are allowed on board. 

“Yandex Go is an app for many different needs in the city, and today we’ve added a new option — comfortable flights available in just a few clicks, just like ordering a taxi,” said Aram Mkhitaryan, Head of Yandex Armenia.
