LG Electronics has announced the release of the LG Signature OLED T, the world’s first transparent OLED TV with wireless connectivity. The device is already available on the American market, and it costs $60,000.
The transparent TV not only serves as a standard viewing device, but also becomes an interior design element, allowing you to take a new look at home theater technology. And the high price seems to be due to the current cost of the technologies used to create this TV.
Key Features
- Transparent 4K OLED screen: The device is equipped with a display with a 4K resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a function to switch between transparent and opaque modes, which makes it ideal for both viewing content and integrating into the interior.
- LG Zero Connect Box technology: Wireless transmission of video and audio with virtually no delays makes using the device convenient and modern.
- Gaming: The TV supports Nvidia G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium for smooth gaming. LG’s Alpha 11 AI processor further enhances picture quality.
- Multi-functionality: The T-Objet Always-On-Display mode displays artwork, photos, weather information, and sports scores, turning the screen into a stylish decorative element.
Availability
The LG Signature OLED T is currently available in the U.S., with plans to launch in other countries in the near future.
