Cheap Xiaomi 12T Pro outperforms Apple and Samsung flagships in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact is one of the heaviest and demanding mobile games, and not every device can meet those technical demands. The best performance in this game showed not on the flagship smartphones from Apple and Samsung, but the much cheaper Xiaomi 12T Pro.

The author of the Golden Reviewer channel compared several modern smartphones and tablets in Genshin Impact. The winner among the smartphones was the Xiaomi 12T Pro, which showed 59.2 fsp performance at 41.5 °C.

Faster than this smartphone was only the iPad mini 6 tablet, but the gap was small: performance of 59.3 fsp when heated to 41.1 ° C.

Meanwhile, the new iPhone 14 Pro Max came in third place with 58.4 fsp and 46.7 °C.

However, not a single device from Samsung even made it into the top ten. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra was only in 12th place, behind several smartphones and tablets from Xiaomi and Apple. And the Samsung Galaxy Fold 4, which has the same processor as the Xiaomi 12T Pro (Snapdragon 8+ Gen1), was 13th in the ranking.

The Xiaomi 12T Pro costs about $750. By comparison, iPhone 14 Pro Max prices start at $1099 (128GB) and Samsung S22 Ultra prices start at $999.

iPad mini 6 prices, on the other hand, begin at $499 (64GB), but the 256GB version (Wi-Fi + Cellular) will cost $799 already.
