Absolute record: Redmi's new 300W charger can fully charge phone in 5 minutes

Redmi has unveiled the fastest and most powerful charger to date – as seen in a teaser released by the company, the charging power is 300 watts, and a special version of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ with a 4,100 mAh battery it can charge in just a few minutes.

According to the teaser, the battery charges to 10% in 43 seconds, to 50% in 2 minutes, to 100% in 5 minutes.

Redmi previously offered a 210W fast charger for the Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition, which can fully charge a 4,300mAh battery in just 9 minutes.

Until recently, Vivo's iQOO 10 Pro was the champion among smartphones with the fastest charging, supporting 200W charging, fully charging the phone in 9 minutes and 48 seconds.
