The Vivo iQOO Neo7 family of gaming smartphones already has three Chinese-made models, and now it has been expanded with another, Indian version, similar to the iQOO Neo7 SE, but with a new processor.

The new iQOO Neo7 got a 4nm Dimensity 8200 processor, which includes four Cortex-A78 cores (one can run at up to 3.1 GHz and three more at 3.0 GHz), as well as four 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores and a G610 MC6 GPU. For cooling, the smartphone has a large evaporation chamber and many layers of graphite plates.

The new smartphone has a large 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen has a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It supports a 120 Hz refresh rate, although you can choose 60 Hz or 90 Hz for content viewing and 30 Hz for constant display.

Typically, the screen sampling rate is 300 Hz, but there's also a special gaming mode that provides up to 1200 Hz. And in Ultra Game Mode, you can set up to six special actions based on motion detection using the gyroscope and accelerometer. In particular, this functionality is supported in the game New State, and in the future this feature will be supported in other games, including Call of Duty Mobile. In addition, some games support frame rate up to 90 frames per second (FPS).

Maximum screen brightness is manually adjustable up to 500 cd/m2, and the maximum value reaches 1000 cd/m2. The screen supports HDR10+.

The Neo7 smartphone is available with 8 and 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and Android 13 operating system with FuntouchOS 13 (the manufacturer promises an upgrade to Android 15) and has a 5000 mAh battery that supports fast charging technology.

FlashCharge provides 120 watts of power, the smartphone charges from 1 to 50% in 10 minutes, to 100% in 25 minutes. For comparison, note that in the model Neo6, 80W charging power provided a speed of 12 and 32 minutes, respectively. In addition, the battery capacity of last year's model was 300 mAh less. The new smartphone has two charging modes: fast, which does not heat up the battery, and ultra-fast, which allows charging at full speed and can heat up the battery.

As for the camera, the Neo7 has a 64-megapixel 1/1.97-inch ISOCELL GW3 sensor based on ISOCELL 2.0 technology. This generation iQOO does not have an ultra-wide-angle camera, but only a main module, a macro module and a sensor that provides image depth.

The iQOO Neo7 is available in blue and black. The base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage costs $360, while the 12/256GB version costs $410.
