iPhone 18 will cost just a hundred dollars more. But there's a catch.

Leaker TheGalox has revealed the expected starting prices for the iPhone 18 lineup. According to the source, the base versions of the next‑generation smartphones will rise in price by roughly one hundred dollars compared to current models.

What prices to expect

According to the source, the pricing will look as follows:

  • iPhone 18 — $899
  • iPhone Air 2 — $1,099
  • iPhone 18 Pro — $1,199
  • iPhone 18 Pro Max — $1,299

For comparison, the current iPhone 17 lineup starts at the following price points:

  • iPhone 17 — $799
  • iPhone Air — $999
  • iPhone 17 Pro — $1,099
  • iPhone 17 Pro Max — $1,199

Thus, the increase in starting prices does indeed amount to roughly $100.

An important caveat

However, there is little reason to celebrate the modest price hike. The same leaker emphasised that versions with more storage will see significantly steeper increases. The price tag on higher‑capacity configurations will rise substantially more than one hundred dollars.

This is especially relevant given the global memory shortage and the rising cost of components, which have already affected other Apple products.

In brief

According to leaker TheGalox, iPhone 18 starting prices will rise by about $100: the base iPhone 18 will cost $899, the Air 2 — $1,099, the Pro — $1,199, and the Pro Max — $1,299. However, models with more storage will see larger price increases, and the final difference for buyers may be considerably higher.
