Picsart is among top 20 apps in world according to data.ai

Picsart, an Armenian company, has been included in data.ai's new State of Mobile 2023 report as one of the world's top 20 apps, becoming a leader in the photo and video editing category.

Other world-renowned companies such as Netflix, TikTok, Samsung-y, WhatsApp Messenger-y, CupCat, Spotify, Tinder, Instagram and others are also in the top 20.

data.ai is a world-renowned organization that offers data on more than 8 million apps and thousands of websites.

In 2022, according to the data, 60 big IT companies were included in the list of 1,000 big taxpayers of Armenia. Picsart is among the top three. The list also includes Synopsys and EPAM. Picsart paid AMD 3,9 bln of taxes in 2022. All the 60 IT companies included in the list of 1,000 major taxpayers paid a total of about AMD 51 billion in taxes or 2.7% of revenues.

Picsart is the world's largest digital creativity platform and one of the 20 most downloaded apps. Billions of visual stories are created and published every month on Picsart. The app is available in 30 languages for free and by subscription on iOS, Android and Windows devices.

Last November, Picsart launched AI Image Generator, an app for creating images from text using artificial intelligence. Back in 2022 in November, the iOS version of AI Image Generator created over 1 million images a day. With the app, users can create entirely new images in seconds based on simple text prompts. It also allows users to edit AI-generated images with thousands of stickers, tools, filters and fonts.
