Spark Go 2023: Tecno introduces cheap smartphone with 6.56-inch screen, impressive battery

The Chinese brand Tecno has introduced the Spark Go 2023 cheap smartphone with rather mediocre specifications, but with a large screen and an impressive battery.

The dimensions of this smartphone are quite standard—163.9 x 75.5 x 8.9 mm, but at the same time, the screen is really big—6.56 inches, and it occupies about 90% of the area of the front panel. The screen resolution is 720 x 1600 pixels—the pixel density: ~ 267 ppi. The maximum brightness of the screen reaches 480 qd/m2.

According to gsmarena.com, this device is powered by a quad-core 2.0GHz Cortex-A53 processor and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Operating system: Android 12 + HIOS 12.

The main camera is quite modest, with a resolution of 13 megapixels. The 5MP selfie camera is also unlikely to surprise anyone. It is not yet known what kind of photos this smartphone can take with these cameras.

Tecno Spark Go 2023 smartphone will be available in three variants.

• 32 GB built-in and 3 GB RAM,
• 64 GB built-in and 3 GB RAM,
• 64 GB built-in and 4 GB RAM.

As mentioned, the phone has a large capacity 5000mAh battery that supports standard 10W charging. But there is no data on how long the smartphone can work on its own on a single charge.

The phone will be available in Endless Black, Uyuni Blue, and Nebula Purple.

It costs about $85.

The smartphone is already on sale in India, while it is expected to go on sale in other countries in February.

Tecno also recently unveiled the Phantom Vision V concept smartphone with a foldable 10-inch screen. When folded, it looks like a normal phone and easily fits in a pocket; and when unfolded, it can easily replace a tablet.

True, it is not known whether this device will ever enter the market, or will remain as a conceptual model.
