Xiaomi has officially revealed the new Civi 2, a beautiful and lightweight smartphone with a dual front camera, powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset.
What should you know about this smartphone?
Civi 2 is the world's first smartphone based on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 single-crystal system, the successor to the Snapdragon 778G. The chipset is built on Samsung's 4-nanometer process technology and offers many improvements in efficiency and performance over previous models.
The smartphone features a 6.55-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a frame rate of 120 Hz. There is also a sub-screen fingerprint scanner.
In the front camera of Civi 2 the constructors used two identical Samsung S5K3D2 image sensors with a resolution of 32 megapixels. The lenses are wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle with a viewing angle of 100°.
As for the main sensor of the main camera, it is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 with an ultra-low dispersion ED optical glass lens. This lens is said to provide better edge-to-edge image quality in daytime shooting and better light transmission and noise reduction in the dark.
The smartphone also has a 4,500 mAh battery and supports 67W wired fast charging.
It also comes with stereo speakers, an NFC chip, and an IR emitter.
The smartphone is quite thin (only 7.23mm) and light (171.8 grams), even despite the 4500 mAh battery.
There are 4 color options: white, pink, blue and black. On the back of the white special version you can notice the wavy texture.
According to some experts, the smartphone is designed more for a female audience: in most promotional photos you can see women's hands, and the design of the smartphone itself seems very feminine.
Prices for the new smartphone is quite affordable - especially compared to many other devices with similar characteristics.
