Scammers have come up with a new way to gain access to Apple users' personal information. One of the latest methods is sending phishing emails demanding that you immediately restore your locked Apple ID. Following the instructions from such emails, users hand over their accounts to attackers.

According to TechRadar, these emails look as believable as possible, using Apple logos, colors, and fonts. The hackers are sowing panic among users by claiming that their Apple ID has been suspended and demanding quick action to restore the account.

If the user follows the link in the email and enters their details, scammers can steal credentials and access personal data such as files and photos stored in iCloud. This could also allow them to make fraudulent purchases using saved payment methods.

Apple device users are advised to be vigilant and not respond to suspicious emails demanding that their account be restored. Instead, they are advised to directly contact Apple's official website or the Apple Account app to check the status of their account.
