Three best laptops for work under $720

The editors of the Russian site Palach have compiled a selection of the three best laptops for study and work worth up to 70,000 rubles (about $723).

The list opens with the Honor MagicBook 15 (2021) priced at 40,700 rubles (about $420). For this amount, users are offered a 1.53 kg and 16.9 mm thick aluminum case laptop with a 15.6-inch IPS screen and Full HD resolution. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 5500U processor, has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD built-in storage. Other features include a retractable webcam, a fingerprint scanner in the power button, and stereo speakers.

It is followed by the Huawei MateBook D16, which starts at 49,200 rubles (about $508). This laptop has a 16-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution, 8/512 GB of memory and is powered by an Intel Core i5-12450H processor. The Huawei MateBook D16 has stereo speakers, a full-size keyboard, a fingerprint scanner, and a webcam.

Rounding out the lineup is the Xiaomi RedmiBook 14 (2024), which costs 69,000 rubles (about $713). It is equipped with a 14-inch IPS screen with a frequency of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2.8K. It has an Intel Core i5-13500H processor with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of SSD built-in memory.
