Owners of flagship Google Pixel 9 Pro XL smartphones have complained about issues with the touchscreen, which is not responding to touches. This was reported by the portal 9to5Google.
Some Pixel 9 Pro XL owners note that their devices do not always correctly register taps on the corners of the screen. The issue is particularly noticeable when trying to close the Google Keyboard using the button in the lower-left corner.
The exact cause of the problem remains unknown, as Google has yet to comment on the situation. Users report that restarting the device helps resolve the issue, but the problem returns after some time. This seems to suggest that the glitch is software-related and could be fixed in future updates.
So far, only Google Pixel 9 Pro XL users have reported touchscreen issues, while owners of other models have not encountered similar problems.
The Google Pixel 9 series smartphones were introduced on August 13. The gadgets feature an updated design, Tensor G4 chip, and AI-based functions.
