HTC introduces U24 Pro - a mid-range smartphone offered at flagship price

The Taiwanese company HTC introduced the HTC U24 Pro smartphone for the local market. It's a mid-range device, the hardware platform is based on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, but the price is impressive: $585 for the basic version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in memory, there's also a 12/512GB version that costs 650 dollar.

It should be noted that for this amount, leading smartphones with a newer and powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and the same amount of memory are now being sold in China.

The HTC U24 Pro has a 6.8-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz frame rate and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. On the front panel, in addition to the 50 MP camera, there is an LED indicator.

The camera consists of a 50MP main module, a 50MP module with 2x zoom and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens module.

The battery capacity is 4600mAh, it supports 60W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The smartphone also has 5W reverse charging capability. The phone runs on Android 14 operating system.

Other features of the model include a standard headphone jack, an NFC chip, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 adapters, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The thickness of the smartphone is 8.98 mm, the weight is 198.7 grams.
