Innovative Eyewear introduces line of Eddie Bauer smart glasses with ChatGPT support

Innovative Eyewear has launched a collection of Eddie Bauer smart glasses with ChatGPT support. All glasses in the series have two microphones, with which users can activate Siri and ChatGPT and receive answers through the four built-in speakers. Users can also receive calls and control apps using the smart glasses when it's connected to a phone via Bluetooth.

To activate ChatGPT, you just need to download the free Lucyd app. ChatGPT can be asked by the user to make a selection of the messages received by e-mail, summarize or translate the texts. The app allows you to save the same chat history no matter what glasses you choose on different days. The glasses are powered by rechargeable batteries that can provide up to 12 hours of operation on a full charge.

The Eddie Bauer smart glasses collection integrates well with the iPhone, and Android integration will be added soon. Users can receive calls, play music and control applications via Bluetooth 5.2 within a radius of 30 meters. The glasses have basic touch control functions: answer calls, control music playback and activate the voice assistant. The package also includes a charging station.

Eddie Bauer's Innovative Eyewear collection of smart glasses includes the Horizon, Navigator, Velocity and Explorer models. Velocity's over-the-counter model starts at $230, while prescription versions start at $250.
