Honor presented mid-budget smartphones with an unusual design

Honor has introduced new smartphones Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro in China. Both smartphones have a rather unusual design, good characteristics - and all this at a relatively low cost.

Design and display

According to GSMArena, both models have a similar design and are equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and has a peak brightness of up to 4000 nits for bright, clear images.

• Honor 200 Pro:
  • Processor: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3
  • Battery: 5200 mAh with 100W fast charging
  • Wireless charging: 66 W
• Honor 200:
  • Processor: Snapdragon 7 Gen 3
  • Battery: 5200 mAh with 100W fast charging
  • Wireless charging: No

Cameras

• Honor 200 Pro:
  • Main camera: 50 MP with optical stabilization (OIS)
  • Telephoto: 50 MP with 2.5x optical zoom and OIS
  • Ultra-wide-angle module: 12 MP
  • Selfie camera: 50 MP
• Honor 200:
  • Main camera: 50 MP with OIS (but with a different sensor)
  • Selfie camera: 50 MP

Software

Both models run MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14, providing modern features and an optimized user interface.

Prices and availability

• Honor 200:
  • CNY 2,699 ($372) for the 12/256 GB version;
  • CNY 3,199 ($442) for the 16/512 GB version.
• Honor 200 Pro:
  • CNY 3499 ($483) in the basic configuration with memory capacity of 12/256 GB;
  • CNY 4,499 ($621) for 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.

The release of both versions in China is expected on May 31.

International versions of the Honor 200 and 200 Pro smartphones will be presented on June 12 in Paris. Then prices for other markets will become known.
