Huawei unexpectedly presented the Mate 60 Pro flagship smartphone for everyone, which received support for satellite communication not only for sending SMS messages, but also for sending voice calls, the Mobiltelefon website reports.

The Mate 60 Pro features a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED display with a four-sided design, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a wide pulse modulation frequency of 1440Hz. The screen surface is protected by durable Kunlun Glass 2.

The smartphone's main camera is a 50 MP sensor with optical stabilization (OIS) and a variable aperture of f/1.4 - 4.0. The circular camera unit also houses a 12MP ultra-wide-angle module and a 48MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3.5x optical zoom. The 13MP selfie camera is hidden in the iPhone's Dynamic Island-like cutout, which also houses a 3D-ToF scanner for unlocking the smartphone using facial recognition.

For the performance capabilities of the phone is responsible the Kirin 9000s chip. Many Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 rumors have not been confirmed. It is noted that the Huawei chip supports only fourth generation networks.

The battery has a capacity of 5000mAh and support for 88W wired charging, as well as wireless and reverse charging at 50W and 20W respectively.

Other features of the smartphone include IP68 protection, an unusual two-part back panel design. The lower part is made of metal and is a continuation of the frame, and the upper half is made of glass or eco-leather, depending on the color.

The Huawei Mate 60 Pro has already gone on sale in China in 12/256GB, 12/512GB, and 12/1024GB variants, but at the moment only the price of the middle variant is known: 7,000 yuan (about $960).
