When will new iPhone 15 go on sale?

The new Apple iPhone 15 is likely to be unveiled on September 13. The 9to5mac portal came to this conclusion based on the information that the American telecommunications operators have called on their employees not to go on vacation on September 13 because the announcement of a new smartphone is expected.

If Apple will indeed introduce the new iPhone 15 on September 13, pre-orders for these smartphones will begin already on Friday, September 15, and official sales will begin a week later, on September 22.

Last year, the iPhone 14 was introduced on September 7, pre-orders began two days later, and in-store sales began on September 16.

According to some reports, a shortage of the iPhone 15 Pro is expected, which in turn may lead to a delay in the start of sales. Last year, due to supply issues, the release of the iPhone 14 Plus was delayed by almost a month. The same situation happened in 2020 during the release of iPhone 12 Pro Max and 12 mini.

The iPhone 15 is expected to surprise its enthusiasts with a new design that includes slightly curved edges and thinner bezels around the display. All models in the series will receive an updated Face ID notch and Dynamic Island camera, while the Lightning connector will give way to a USB-C port, which will make the use of this smartphone even more convenient.

On the other hand, the smartphones of this series may become more expensive compared to last year's devices. Thus, the iPhone 15 Pro will cost $100 more than the iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be $100 to $200 more than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

In this regard, as well as taking into account some other factors, some experts believe that the demand for smartphones in this series is likely to be very modest, and even lower than last year's iPhone 14.
