Redmi Note 12 Turbo is recognized as the most powerful budget smartphone in the latest AnTuTu ranking. The benchmark developers released their monthly report, and the Redmi device secured the top spot with an impressive score of over 1 million points.
The device is equipped with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip, and it is thanks to this chip that Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which is considered quite a budget device, was able to show good results in AnTuTu tests and score 1.15 million points.
The Realme GT Neo5 SE, also equipped with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip, is in second place with a score of 1.13 million.
Third place went to iQOO Neo7 SE with MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip, which scored 949,000 points in the AnTuTu benchmark.
The rating includes two more devices powered by the Dimensity 8200 chip: Vivo S17 Pro with a score of 947,000 points and Oppo Reno10 Pro 5G, which scored 923,000 points.
On the sixth line of the rating was Redmi Note 12T Pro with an overclocked Dimensity 8200 Ultra chip and a score of 894,000 points.
Rounding out the top ten are Redmi K60E (887,000 points), Xiaomi Civi 3 (886,000 points), OnePlus Ace Racing Edition (880,000 points) and base OnePlus Ace (872,000 points).
As a result of July, the two most powerful smartphones in the AnTuTu ranking exceeded 1 million points. And this is really interesting, given that it was only at the end of 2021 that the flagships managed to achieve such results.
Thus, modern budget devices demonstrate performance that approaches the level of top-end smartphones presented a year and a half ago. Today, affordable models delight users with powerful features, opening up new possibilities at a more affordable price.
