The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will not get the much-discussed new technology

The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models will not get one of the new technologies that have been actively discussed recently – the solid-state touch side button of the volume control, instead they will get regular buttons.

Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo told Wccftech.com that Apple has abandoned the idea for now due to technical issues.

“My latest survey indicates that due to unresolved technical issues before mass production, both high-end iPhone 15 Pro models (Pro & Pro Max) will abandon the closely-watched solid-state button design and revert to the traditional physical button design,” he said.

The source notes that this does not necessarily mean that Apple will not use similar buttons in the phones to be presented next year. Many people may like this news, because it was completely unclear how convenient it would be to use the new buttons.

Earlier a video was published in the Chinese social network Douyin, showing for the first time a mockup of the iPhone 15 Pro, which was created for case makers based on accurate drawings of the device. In the video, it could be seen that the iPhone 15 Pro will get a solid-state touch side button instead of the previous two separate ones.

In addition, the video revealed that the iPhone 15 Pro will have a more rounded body, new buttons, a USB-C port and, according to verified insiders, a titanium frame.

The video was published by a source called ShrimpApplePro, which was the first to publish mockup photos of the iPhone 14 series of smartphones a year ago, which later turned out to be completely accurate.
