October 10, 2022  10:37

God of War Ragnarok – the ninth game in the God of War series – is officially ready for RTM release coming to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on November 9.

Initially, this video game was expected to be released as early as 2021, but its release was postponed several times due to various reasons. At first, the game was very raw, and therefore its developers didn't want to rush and sacrifice its quality. Then Christopher Judge, the voice actor of Kratos, the main character of this game series, had health issues.

Fans of the God of War series are hoping that there will be no more delays this time and the game will indeed be released on November 9, as promised. At least the developers at Sony Santa Monica Studio assure that the main disc with the final version of this game has already been sent for duplication, and its digital version is ready for uploading distribution services.

God-of-War-Ragnarok1

In the sequel to the legendary God of War (2018), which many gamers consider the best game of all time, Kratos and Atreus will embark on a new journey in search of knowledge and new allies to face Ragnarok – a series of future events in Norse mythology. It includes the great battle, during which some of the main characters of mythology die, and various natural disasters occur.

God-of-War-Ragnarok2

As Asgard prepares for the coming war, the father and son must visit each of the Nine Realms, where new skills and abilities will aid them in their battles with monsters and gods – the game's combat system has been updated and new elemental attacks have been added – as well as the of Leviathan axe, the Blades of Chaos, and the Guardian Shield have been returned to the game.

Atreus must sort out the situation over the prophecy regarding Loki, and find out what role he must play in the coming Ragnarok. On the other hand, Kratos must finally get rid of his past and become the father that his son needs so much.
