Solana Mobile Company has introduced the Saga premium Android smartphone for web3 enthusiasts. Built into the device is the Solana Mobile Stack, a set of tools and features that enables to use Solana dApps, trade tokens, generate NFTs, and play online games.

The release of this smartphone is slated for April 13.

As Gizmochina.com informs, many have heard almost nothing about Solana Mobile until now. This brand was founded by former employees of Essential. A few months ago, the company announced that it will unveil its first smartphone this year. It has now been revealed that the first Saga smartphones will be available on the day of the launch on April 13.

At first, the brand was called OSOM—and its first smartphone was to be called OSOM OV1—, but later it was renamed, and the smartphone itself received a more pleasant name.

As per Solana Mobile, Saga is “the next chapter” in the crypto tale and “sets a new standard for the web3 experience on mobile.”

According to them, moving crypto technologies to mobile devices will lead to a wider adoption of these technologies, and both developers and users will begin to understand them better.
