Sony releases list of 14 games that will be free for some subscribers
Sony has announced the list of games that will be added to the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogs in October. Among the upcoming releases are hits like Dead Island 2.
Starting October 15, subscribers to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium plans will gain access to the zombie action game Dead Island 2, as well as Two Point Campus, The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, Gris, Return to Monkey Island, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, Firefighting Simulator: The Squad, Overpass 2, Tour de France 2023, and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
For PS Plus Premium subscribers, The Last Clockwinder, Dino Crisis, Siren, and R-Type Dimensions EX will be available—these are games from previous generations of PlayStation consoles and titles for the PS VR2 mixed reality headset.
The highlight of the lineup, Dead Island 2, is an action/RPG video game developed by British studio Dambuster Studios and published by Deep Silver in April 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
All the listed games will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers with Extra and Premium plans starting on October 15.
