Five laptops that are best for work

The Russian site "Palac" has compiled a selection of five laptops that have quite good performance indicators and are very suitable for work.

The Asus VivoBook Pro 15 OLED opens the rating, which costs $1135 (in Russia). It has a bright 15.6-inch OLED screen with a frequency of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2.5K. The Intel Core i5-13500H processor with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD built-in memory is responsible for the performance of this model, which is sufficient for most tasks.

In addition, the laptop has an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 discrete graphics card, which can run most games at medium graphics settings.

It is followed by the Xiaomi RedmiBook Pro 14 (2024) $1180 (in Russia), which is 15.9mm thick, 1.46kg weight, 14-inch IPS screen with 2.5K dots, Intel Core processor Ultra 7 155H coupled with 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD.

This laptop can work up to 30 hours without recharging. Among other features, there are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and integration with the company's smartphones and tablets running HyperOS.

In third place is the MacBook Air with its own Apple M3 chip, which costs $1,196 (in the Russian Federation). It has a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display with 2.5K resolution, 8/256 GB of memory in the basic configuration, stereo speakers, support for Wi-Fi 6E and Thunderbolt connectors with support for connecting two external monitors at the same time.

Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5 Gen 9 and HP Omen 16 were also included in the top five, at the price of $1,342 and $1,385, respectively.
